Caroline Rivalan explores feminine myths and the hedonistic aspect of nature by appropriating found images that she retranscribes plastically through editing operations. The images she produces in microcosms (dioramas) or macrocosms (light installation devices) mix various registers with irreverence and sarcasm. The result is a phantasmagorical universe where the feminine has a special place.
