A 2011 graduate of the Villa Arson (Nice), Caroline Rivalan explores feminine myths and the hedonistic aspect of nature by appropriating images that she retranscribes plastically through editing operations. The images she produces in microcosms (dioramas) or macrocosms (light installation devices) blend various registers with irreverence and sarcasm. The result is a phantasmagorical universe in which the feminine holds a special place.
